Evolving

I started blogging...nearly five years ago. My motivation was part writing practice part aggregation of what I was reading part narcissism that my thoughts should be heard and part amusement.

But life has changed.

I teach now.

My creative - and witty - capacities are sucked dry by the time I click "new post."

I've only read 8 books so far this year.

I barely have time to go chuckle at Ryan Gosling.

In an attempt at finding a work life balance, I want to get back to writing about books. But the venue might have to change. Even while writing this post I'm making a list of work I need to do.

By the time I write about books, my interesting thoughts have passed.

Perhaps this summer fun me will return. And when I say fun me I mean reading me.
